Experience a Russian Classic During a Performance of Swan Lake This Friday

Perhaps the most recognized ballet of all time, Swan Lake makes its highly-anticipated return to Kansas City Ballet after breaking box office records in 2016! Be there to welcome this timeless performance at Kauffman Center on Friday, February 14th!

Swan Lake is a timeless love story that mixes magic, tragedy, and romance into four acts. It features Prince Siegfried and a lovely swan princess named Odette. Under the spell of a sorcerer, Odette spends her days as a swan swimming on a lake of tears and her nights in her beautiful human form. The couple quickly falls in love. Like most fairytales, things are not easy, and the sorcerer has more tricks in store for the smitten couple. Will Odette end up with her Prince in the end?

“Kansas City Ballet's Swan Lake was stunning and indicated a company capable of anything." — The Kansas City Star

These informal discussions are free for all ticketholders. They are held at the Kauffman Center one hour prior to curtain.
