This nation-wide event culminates on Saturday, April 7th and the Kansas festivities are taking place at the Ironwoods Park Amphitheater. Come join in the exciting community festival that invites dancers of all ages, disciplines, and levels to enjoy a full day of free dance performances for the public!
Now celebrating its second annual event in Kansas City, the family-friendly activities of National Dance Week are sure to get you on your feet! Come celebrate the joy of dancing with a wonderful program of performances from the renowned Kansas studios, universities, professional companies, and independent choreographers. This year, over 40 groups are presenting their original works in genres including ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip hop, and traditional cultural dances, making this 2018 celebration the biggest and best event yet! It’s a thrilling and enriching way to spend your weekend, so make sure you get in the groove at the Kansas City National Dance Week event.
