Home to approximately 35,000 residents, Leawood, Kansas, is a centrally located suburb bordered by Overland Park, Prairie Village, and Kansas City. Previously known as Oxford, Kansas, the town was once a stop along the Santa Fe Trail and a battleground during the Bleeding Kansas conflict and the American Civil War.
